BSC Copy Trading: Anti-Rug Settings You Should Always Use
BNB Chain is full of opportunity and full of traps. These are the bot settings that keep a copy trading account alive.

The BSC risk profile
BNB Chain has cheap deployment costs, which means an enormous volume of new tokens — and an enormous volume of scams. Copy trading amplifies both outcomes.
Settings that matter
- Honeypot simulation before buy. Every serious bot can simulate a sell before committing funds.
- Max buy tax and sell tax limits. Cap at 10% combined.
- Liquidity lock check. Skip tokens with unlocked liquidity.
- Auto-sell on dev sell. Follow the deployer wallet, not just the trader you copy.
- Per-trade position cap. Never let one mirrored trade exceed 3-5% of your balance.
Choosing a wallet to copy
Look for at least 100 closed trades, a win rate above 45%, and consistent position sizing. Erratic sizing usually signals gambling rather than an edge.
Bottom line
On BSC, survivability beats upside. Configure protections first, then optimise for returns.
